Why Me?

I have experienced the highs and lows of what life can throw at us…loss.. of loved ones.. loss of relationship.. loss of self.

I tell you as one wounded soul to another.. my journey of self discovery is still in progress …

I work in a way that explores past experiences from childhood, through regression work and looking at attachment in our early years.

I believe that offering somebody the chance to come as they are and to be accepted just as they are, through a safe and non judgemental way, can be transformational.

How often do we get the opportunity to do that?

My Christian faith is important to me and can be incorporated into our work if you so desire.

I had a crisis earlier this year and sought out a therapist who dealt specifically with family issues to help me navigate through my complex feelings of grief, having never considered therapy before. Sarah and I meet weekly and work through many "in the moment" problems, how I feel on that day, as well as exploring ways of behaving that come from childhood. Sarah's style is direct but empathetic, and I have found her prompts about patterns of behaviour hugely helpful.
